Our expertise in Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) assets underscores the critical importance of managing erosion and sediment control (ESC) on development construction and domestic housing sites. By implementing proactive ESC measures, we have minimised significant negative impacts on sensitive downstream waterways and demonstrated our commitment to sustainable environmental practices.

Upstream ESC measures not capable of minimising highly dispersive sediments entering and compromising WSUD assets constructed prior to 80% development buildout.

Dispersive sediment layer over the top of the bio media ultimately required the removal of the plants and top 150mm of bio media, the 3 basins then had sacrificial turf layers installed – as seen in two of the photos significant volumes of highly dispersive sediments escaped into downstream eco systems - this situation also became a very costly yet avoidable situation for the developer.
